Not All PET Films Will Cut It
DTF printing necessitates the use of PET film. However, not all PET films are suitable for the DTF process. Choose printable two-sided cold peel film for the best results. Lower-grade untreated films may be less costly, but they do not function as well as two-sided cold peel film—they may smear, refuse to absorb the adhesive, or destroy your clothing.

Printing on cold peel film cannot be immediately transferred to a garment. An adhesive must be used instead to help the picture stick to the cloth. Companies provide a special adhesive for DTF printing that is strong enough to survive up to 45 hand washes while remaining soft. There is no bad odour, and extra may be saved and reused.

DTF Printing Provides More Versatility

A DTF transfer may be applied to almost any cloth. Any colouring is okay. DTG prints beautifully on white poly and light or dark-coloured cotton. In addition, if you’re diligent, you can do a decent job with mixes. It will also print on dark poly if you are patient, accurate, and ready to try.
A DTF printing adores polyester tees. Dark-coloured synthetics are ideal; however, light colourings may also be used. Cotton looks great in every hue – even inexpensive cotton shirts! Stretchy fabrics are also useful.
